In Costa Rica was recently approved that medical studies (noun) could be tested in human beings, many newspapers published that in their headlines (noun). But something bad came out of this great announcement, a farmaceutical company is under investigation due to a conflict of interest (noun) related to a new drug, because in a study they chose a epidemiological study (noun)instead of a randomized clinical trial(noun), even though the cohort group (noun) was set up by the scientist involved in the study. So, the president concluded that this drug isn't reliable (adjective) for human intake because there were inherent flaws (noun) and confunding variables (noun) during the research.

Many scientific studies (noun) have been created to prove the causes and effects (noun) of some things for health (noun), like treatments f(noun)or illnesses. However, some of those studies can't give real conclusions (noun), because the type of the study(noun) is wrong for the objective of the study.

Also, in some studies, the scientists research (verb) in animals, for give conclusions for humans and maybe the results are different between animals( noun) and humans(noun).
Moreover, the type of study depends of the number of volunteers required, and other resources necessary, that don't have it.
So, when the people read headlines in the news paper(noun) about some studies, is important to read about the original study, recognize the limitations(noun) of study, and compare(verb) stadistics (noun) from other studies for have right and real conclusions.
